Yep. As drxx noted, you are not looking for a phrase as such, but three consecutive words from the first line of a well-known seasonal verse/song.

I am very likely to have never heard of this verse.
Before I give up, as a last step, can you tell me the lengths of these words?

I'd be very surprised if you don't know it. They are the fifth, sixth and seventh words of the first line, being (6,2,5).

Your 6,2,5 confirmed them.

I had never heard of it.
I know very few songs in this category that are played here.
