Hi again Scorpiojo

I thought this might be the answer, but didn't know that name for a shark.

This just leaves 3d and I think the word I was thinking of must be the answer but I can't see the untwinned large town.

Hi roof,
First 3 letters = untwinned
Last 3, add C to the word.

Has anyone else noticed that the post numbers have gone haywire?

Yes, I have. I also noticed earlier that the number of replies listed on the main page was higher than the actual number.

I'm baffled by 6d, Anglicised French port's state, for example, broadcast. I have ?A?S?I?L?S though the I could be wrong. From Quick Solve I got the name of a southern French port but I see nothing else in the clue to support it. Why anglicized? Is there an alternate spelling? And I don't see the connection of Goldilocks with 14ac, Breakfast time, M?R?I?G?. Again that I is contingent. Any help or corrections please.

Well I just looked it up and found that my idea of the port's spelling has an S on the end that isn't official! Good to know. I'm still wondering about Goldilocks though in 14a.

Ethereal, I'm not doing this puzzle - but your answer for 14 looks wrong. the M. There's a word that fits both breakfast and time, separately.

The French don't add an 'S' at the end.

Abb. for a State _ a short word for 'for example# - Broadcast/Sounds like.
