8a: My copy of the crossword says " musical passages"?
The answer is a double definition; a word meaning both "spells " add "musical passages "

4d: The "m " is wrong.

7d definition in the near future.

8a The A is wrong

8a The spells refers to periods of time, not magic!

After I posted my last message I solved 8ac, 26,10, and 2d, but I'd got 3d wrong and now I see I've got 14ac wrong - I had been starting to wonder. So any hints for 14ac, 3d and 4d would be welcome.

I have a possible answer for 3 down but can see no relationship to the clue. What else will fit ?D?I?Y?
