Always found brummie to be a bit tricky. Top and right proving problematic. Help with 'Spells, musical passages'(8)might get me started.

This is a double definition - a word that means both

This is my first post although I have watched the forum with interest. Been storming through today which is unusual and find myself stumped with bottom left

22d $1000 dollar campaign is thick and soft! (6) I have g?o???

27a Book to register cash (5) I have ??e?d. I have a food related parse for this, but that makes 22d even more perplexing.

Any clues gratefully accepted

27 i think you are correct

22 a letter representing the amount in the US followed by a word for campaign (in the political sense)

Stuck on my last two - 15d R** and 18a ***L*T*

Is 15d definition cycle? If so, the only word I can think of would make 18a even more perplexing!

Welcome to the forum exlibris.

My definition for 22d is more like thick and lumpy but from the parsing I'm sure I have the right answer!

15 - a synonym of pretty (not in the appearance sense) minus the last letter reversed

Doh - I’ve got it! Thought 15d was a word ending with n but once I got that right 18a became obvious!

Thanks for the help. Was getting hung up on gloopy which almost works if G plus loopy for soft. Couldn't work in the campaign bit with that answer (unless it was vote leave).

Once I got confirmation on 27 across and the variance from soft the penny dropped.
