I think the chicken V, though ambiguous, may be taken as an indicator too. Needless to say, I got the grid the wrong way round to start. I enjoy Saturdays but never submit because I don't think the prize is worth the postage. By contrast a cheque for £20 arrived in the post this morning from News UK with no indication what it was for! I've also recently had a pen and a book token from them ...
