I'm finding this week's inquisitor really hard. But there's no thread so far, so maybe everyone else is finding it easier?

I've got 30d, so I know the letter change for 29d, but still can't get anywhere with it.

Re-st art on gathering inspiration from below... (6)

Any hints?

(For anyone without the paper, clues are in pairs, and a letter is moved from one to the other before solving. The I from the clue above has been moved.)

Didn't mean to add italics. Should read:

So 30 clue becomes- Ohio church band spotted prowler. (6) What’s the answer? I’d like an example pair before I start!

For 29d I'm thinking MUSE for inspiration go up inside RE for "on" but the definition doesn't seem quite right. And for 30d a wild cat beginning with O and ending in T.

I'm finding this hard too. 23d would be a help:

Like this would be fiercely revolutionary: liberation hotly disputed... (7)
I don't know what the rogue letter is.

To be blunt it's "OCELOT"

Don't care about giving a direct answer here, this is a brute of a puzzle and I shan't give it above another hour before moving on to something more accessible and entertaining - maybe a KEA or a SCHADENFREUDE!!

All done except for the highlighting. 23d is BILLY-OH, by the way (I think bobbycollins has the right idea). I'm happy to give hints or answers (do specify) but I will be out of the house from about 1pm to 4pm.

Ah, thanks! I hadn't thought to adjust the spacing so was looking for a word for 'rest'

If anyone doesn't mind answering another... (although given how frustrating I have found it this week, I don't blame you if you've already put it in the bin).

I'm stuck on 38 and 39 down.

38 Cap Indian's lover ... (3)
39 ... firstly added mixture into cooking pan (3)

I have -A- for 38.

For 38 and 39, I think you mean 37 and 38.

L goes from lover, and Jat is an Indian, so flip it for a cap.
L goes into pan (the definition), so take the first letters of "added mixture into" and form an anagram (cooking).
