Wakeling - I just found the Ilford Recorder entry you referred to - what a typo - maybe they thought it was based on a character in the Simpsons! The beer does check out in a number of rather more reliable sources on and offline, including my trusty 2012 Good Beer Guide.

Belatedly, yes Crates, it was an Eastwood movie. Most of the genre were morality tales, but some really got into the vengeance.

Try as a I might I simply cannot get the answers to fit in the NE corner. I (think I have) solved 3 (begins with D), 6 (R), 2(O) and 12 (M) but cannot get them to fit together. Have I made a mistake? If not could anyone offer a hint on which way these go round.

Many thanks

I'm new to this forum, and would appreciate some help with 30 and 40. I have the top filled and see the perpetrator, but haven't made sense of 6 yet. Thanks..
