I think your clue is fine, spike2, as is yours stevea6000 (which ginge has kindly confirmed) so I think they should be considered. I am sure the regulars would agree.

The nature of the solution is such that we might perhaps expect there to be a degree of similarity between entries; I for one have no issue with that as long as no two clues are identical.
