Nice heathcliff, cheers BBM2 ( I wouldn't try that with either of my much smaller and supposedly more domesticated "moggies").

Aristo, I don't know about Magdalene last night but it sounds right for BBM2 this morning! If my clue stumped you it obviously needed working on but not far off if you got the "I".

Don't know how the latter E got dropped.
One must feel especially so in the slammer, ginge.

The Cambdrige one (my university) is, of course, pronounced "Maudlin"; I don't know about the Oxford one.

btw Sir David ROBINSON is the first person since Jesus to have a college named after him at both Oxford and Cambridge!

Well, I was thinking of Oxford, so there you go. I thought that that one's pronounced maudlin too.

Congratulations Heathcliffe - happy for you, but unfortunately,
the penny has not dropped for me! Could anyone help?

Hope you are not in 'the dog house' anymore Marty!
Thanks for hosting and the amazing clip! Loved it

chrise: I thought of you recently when a pickup truck loaded with ferns passed my summer house- too fast to identify them (it's hard enough when they're not going anywhere). I had just given some clumps of Dennstaedtia punctilobula to a friend, to plant around his fountain. This batch was headed down island to Dark Harbor, where someone no doubt paid a fortune for it. Perhaps I should market some of my favorites...
