Just started this one and I'm already wondering if I will carry on - too much cold solving for my liking, plus the definition not always being given completely by the wordplay.

This EV is, imho, harder than this week's Listener, which I completed without too much difficulty.

Thank you to the contributors who've already posted useful hints but I think I'll go back to weeding the garden!

I think this is the hardest EV I've ever tried. If the definition is "support" are we really supposed to start thinking about armpits? Or have I missed something in that clue (starts "Concert arranger...)?

Anyway, I shall try again and any help with these two would give me a big nudge, thanks.
