interesting how you got to Sokah - I could see that but to me the key word in the clue was "in", so something had to be IN something. Hak(a) goes IN so to give Shako. In this way, there is only 1 clash - the k.
As both Shako and Sokah are types of rhythmic calypso music, I think the clue has 2 solutions, but luckily only one of these is a hat.
I dont think the setter can be faulted here. She may not be aware of Shako in the calypso sense, but it is very familiar to me. I thought it was a very nice puzzle and as usual with hers, it was solvable.
