I have an almost full grid with the speaker and his comment round the perimeter. I can't see the 24 clashes or the 7 examples to be made good.
It's probably me - I'm feeling really gormless.
Any help gratefully received!

If you have the speaker, you've got at least one clash. Look at that and see how the entry can be changed into an 'example'. Also, one of the Across entries leads very easily to changing it to another example.

I have most of them but are any in diagonals? This would not make sense but I suppose it is possible. Any gentle hint greatfully received

Jigjag, no diagonals are involved. If you've got some already, look at HOW you made them good...

Jigjag, yes. I got my answers by focussing on any bits where I had any clashes at all - and then seeing if anything there could be transformed into a....
