Practical Classics is a magazine which is ideally suited to those of us who may not remember what we had for breakfast, if indeed we remembered to take it at all. However, we do remember an era when cars didn't all look the same, distinguished only by a badge.

Having said all that, I have a clue which has stumped me. 'Fiat 500 based two seater of the late 1960s. (7 and 6). The letters I have are

?O?N??E ?A?I?E. I think the intersecting letters are correct.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, anyway, shooty. I thought I was reasonably up to date in my cars of that period, having owned quite a few duffers over the years. I wonder if this one might have been produced under the name of a different manufacturer, but I can't get anywhere with my search.

Thanks again.

Having worked with cars for many years I recalled the Gamine vaguely but had to hunt the first part out.

Thanks, Mamya. I was beginning to despair of this one. You are a wealth of very useful information.

Thanks again.
