New specs are important, but expensive. I managed to get away without buying any on my last visit.

My latest piece of artificial help seems to be that I need a hearing aid. I had been denying this for ages, but when Mrs P asked me to pass the milk and I told her that it was half past three, was a bit of a give-away.
