It's actually only one word (as the 'rules' of the puzzle dictate), but the two characters preceding the word in the clue could be viewed as a helpful indication of where that particular meaning of the entry originated.

...as I noted before, the constraints associated with a single word definition mean that sometimes that definition is a little 'loose' and indications of locale, obsoleteness etc must by necessity be omitted (eg for the entry at 12ac).

Assuming entries:

12ac Clue is at 3dn - W (weak) + [N ('end of fun') in AZE(d) ('this setter endlessly')]

24ac Clue is at 11ac - MOO ('low') around DELL ('valley featuring tree')

29ac Clue is at 19dn - MILITARIA ('weapons etc') - T ('no time')

The entry there? Clue is at 16dn - anagram (making...dance) of COURANTE + R (right).
