1. A four letter word, beginning A, for 'my' (Oh dear, etc). The carriage has six letters, the first and last are removed (uncovered).

40 Just an anagram, leading to Tramp, noun.

27. Another anagram, leading to a maths/arithmetic term (I think!) for a straight line.
