Hello Sudokulover - This is not a request for an answer. I have two crossing clues left that are driving me mad. I've been studying Chambers for well over an hour. I only want 2 letters in one, and 3 in the other. 29 ac and 25 d. This is just to wonder if you're having the same trouble, or am I having a dim morning.

Sudokulover- I see I had the wrong spelling of Hermeneutist so you are correct to say the fourth letter in 7d is a U.

Hi Tony - actually this is one of the easier ones. If you look up growler in Chambers you will find a 3-letter word which will give you the first 3 letters of the answer
