My friend and I have completed the prize crossword as a collaborative effort prior to the following week's solution every week since February 2015.

I started this thread, without having completed this week, to let people know that there is a huge giveaway if you get a certain answer.

I'm still only about halfway through and look forward to the puzzle.

I will comment that I am finding it fun this week whereas lots of times we are trying to keep our record up for the sake of it.

Pity 17a was your last, tanglewood - it was the hint that mackania ws referring to, I think!

I have almost completed this which is almost a first for me in the last few weeks but I am stuck on 10a Axeskeep paint off the wall (4) ?A?? and 2d. Platform by the sea's as rickety in the end (4)?U?? I also don't see the "hugh giveaway" am I being really thick or what?
