The definition for o is in harmony

It can be obtained by taking the first letter from the name of two different animals

Hi all

I've just got three left.
Y North American animator travelling west around eastern capital.
A A family from Belfast that's poisonous
R Rifle cleared, safe to hold
I think I have the position of the R clue and have the following letters R?P?A???
Any hints gratefully received.

Y - a capital city is the definition
A - a family from norther Ireland
R. - think of a Slang term for a safe

I didn't know the slang for safe, but I did know safe breaker. The answer is what I thought, but I can't parse it all.
I've also found a capital city but it means the answer I had for O is wrong and I can't explain the parsing, but I assume the answer to the clue is reversed.
Finally, I now see why my answer for the A clue was right. Duh!
So, just O to get. I must try and think of beasts as On Cue was wrong.

I still can't think of the answer to O despite all the clues.
