Hi, Rusty!
Sorry, Rusty...I am obviously explaining inadequately but, no, the link unfortunately didn't help, as the attachments were already taken out from the emails ( by God knows whom?) and then stored separately in several folders, with no apparent deletion option.
My daughter deserves a gold star if she cracks this!
She uses gmail.... and yes, I do have a gmail account.
But I have just always preferred Hotmail for its various options, which always suited my (multi) purposes in the past.
"Erin" is a very attractive young lady!!

Hello, Chris!
It must be very frustrating to lose by "just half a wheel"!

Hello, Elle!
No, your explaining is fine.
Just difficult for me to grasp as I have never came across Outlook before.
Could you send your daughter a screenshot of the Outlook page?
May be helpful to her to help solve this pickle?
Yes, Erin was very nice.
She was the "middle" sister.
Mary-Ellen was older, and Elizabeth was younger.
Erin was played by Mary Beth McDonough, who wrote a book, "Lessons from the Mountain", about her time playing Erin.

Hi, Rusty!
I sent my daughter a screen shot of the Inbox page when bereft of its boxes..... and just after the new replacement icons came up in place of the boxes.....
She could not make head nor tail of it all!
She also says she does not know why the attachments would have been removed from their original deleted emails, and then stored.
But perhaps seeing it for herself might help?
We shall see!
"The Waltons" sounds to have been a good series.
Now, have you heard of "Scotch woodcock"?
It was a question on "Fifteen to One"
It is toast spread with anchovy paste, and topped with creamy scrambled eggs, then sprinkled with black pepper.
I though it sounded good...what do you think?

Hello, Elle!
Outlook seem to have made a right mess.
But, there are millions using Outlook and if they are having the same problems as you, we would hear about it, surely?
But, there only appear to be a few folk complaining on the Internet about it.
Odd!
I am sure your daughter will improve things!
The Waltons was a great favourite of mine!
I would not know of Scotch woodcock.
I would not eat it.
I don't know what anchovy paste tastes like and I will not use pepper on anything.

Hi, Rusty!
I wonder whether the amount of chaos caused by Outlook is only noticeable if one makes use of a lot of the "facilities"?
The friend whose email account I researched to see what had happened to HIS layout, hadn't even realised that the various "boxes" had disappeared from his page.
He accepted the new icons in their stead quite happily, and didn't even bother wondering where everything else had gone!
He had no restrictions on the email intake, as he wasn't using the Junk Mail settings......so everything being sent was going straight through to his Inbox without filtering.
I, on the other hand, wasn't getting anything through, other than messages from those listed in "My Contacts".
Just a thought?
I haven't ever come across anchovy paste, but have had anchovies on pizza......small salty fish.
I like scrambled eggs if they are cheesy!
And I love pepper, I have it liberally on everything!
Have you heard how Chris Frome is, after his cycling accident?

Hello, Elle!
Well, Outlook and whatever they are up to, are a mystery.
I'll stick to BlueMail, I think, much simpler!
I can't take pepper or I suffer with my stomach.
Same with spices.
I am fine with corn flakes, though!
Froome is in intensive care, just now.
He had a six hour operation.
He has a broken hip, broken femur, fractured elbow, fractured ribs, and was knocked unconscious.
The surgeons are pleased with him, though.
He'll be out for at least six months, they say.
So, Team Ineos will have to rethink their team for the Tour de France.
I think Geraint Thomas and Egan Bernal will be their main men.
They both ride the Tour of Switzerland as a warm up for Le Tour.
It starts tomorrow. Will be a good race!

Good morning, Rusty!
A lovely day here!
We were out walking very early this morning.......not only in an effort to beat the runners, but also because we wanted to go the Crematorium on our way home.
I wanted take my plants for Fathers' Day, as tomorrow we shall not have very much time, if we are to take out the dog, and then meet up with the family for an early lunch.
What are you up to today?
Are you meeting up with your friends from Norn Iron?

Good morning, Elle!
It is dry and cloudy here.
What runners are these?
Ah, tomorrow is Father's Day?
I did not know.
My friends visited me earlier today.
I am staying home today.
No paper, either!
Did my puzzle online.
Not a great one today, for me.
No live cycling today.
EuroSport are showing Le Mans, tennis, and motor bike racing.

Hi, Rusty!
It is clouding over here, too, now, and looks very much like rain, altho' it is not forecast.
The runners ?
"Parkrun" is a series of 5k runs held on Saturday mornings around the world, in local parks.
Participation is free and open to all.
You register once, and are given a bar code.
If you take this barcode with you each week, you are able to have your run timed, if you so wish.
You can transfer from venue to venue, although most regulars tend always to participate at the same park.
We get about two to three hundred runners each week, at our park.
(So you can see why it is necessary to avoid the run...which starts at 9am !)
There is also a children's run - for 4 to 14 year-olds - operating on a Sunday morning
I am glad you managed to see your friends.....
