Hi, Rusty!
Hi, Rusty!
We had a very nice time!
It was lovely to see everyone.
BB is writing a story for us and brought us the first two chapters......
He is a very enterprising child at six years old.
It is a smashing story... I cannot wait for the next chapter!
How are your friends?
Did you go to the Pine Cone?
Uhm...I was half expecting that Simon would opt for the B Positive Choir....he did say, when they lost, that if possible he would see that they got into the Final.
But whilst I appreciate that the choir is offering a positive image in supporting blood donoring...and the NHS...I personally do not think they are the most deserving talent-wise.
I should have like to see the Wild Card go to one of the two magicians, Maddox ( the Rubik cube man) or Marc Spelmann.........or even maybe the impressionist, Andrew Lancaster?
What is your opinion?

I'm not quite sure how you got a double salute, Rusty!
I had thought that what I was typing wasn't registering......and started again!

Hello, Elle!
Well done BB. A talented young man!
Yes, we all went to Pine Cone.
Had a great time.
Apparently Ed Sheeran was brilliant last night!
My friends could not get tickets for Belfast or Dublin gigs, so they made a weekend of it over here.
The Pine Cone waitresses struggled a bit with the accents, though!
I had to do a bit of translating!
My opinion is, it is Simon Cowell's show, so what Simon wants, Simon gets!
My wild card would have been Father Ray, or if not him, one of the magicians.
I am quite happy with the choir, though, and they will gain lots of publicity for their blood donating and the NHS.
Can't be bad!

Hi, Rusty!
Well, put like that, then yes, bringing the B Positive Choir before the public eye again can only be a good thing.
We want more blood donors.... and the NHS is desperately in need of support.
Yes, I can see the pluses.......
But then I like Father Ray...and magicians Marc and Maddox...... and Andrew......
I should like to see one of them get another chance.....
Maybe there will be a surprise... and there will be TWO Wild Cards?
One can live in hope...
I have my fingers crossed!
Not long to go now!

Hi, Rusty!
I think this is going to be hard to call....
Such a lot of talent!
I like Jack and Dad, but I don't think they will win......other favourites are the Chiang brothers, Gruffydd, and of course DVJ
I have voted for DVJ!
How about you?
Where does your allegiance lie?
Now we wait for the results......

Hello, Elle!
I voted for Gruffydd, just ahead of the Giang Brothers, and I really liked Jack and Dad, too.
The Lost Voice Guy won, and he seems a very nice lad, but he was not for me.
I liked the performance by the "Tina" show.
It was first class.
And I think Dec did very well on his own.

Hi, Rusty!
Well, I said it would be hard to call....but I never expected this!
If I'd had to put my shirt on it, I would have said that Gruffydd, the Chiang Brothers and DVJ would be in the top three.
Although my personal favourites were Jack and Tim , and DVJ.
I admit to being disappointed.
But that's show business!
All the participants did really well!
And yes, well done , Dec!

Good morning, Elle!
Fine dry morning here!
All quiet at the loch.
My, how these chicks are growing on a high protein diet!
I agree with your top three in BGT.
Here's the thing, though.
Paddy P had Lost Voice Guy and the runner up, Robert White, as hot favourites, all week.
I think the show could do with a shake up.
Some new judges.
I am not keen on David Walliams, nor do I think Alesha and Amanda should be dancing along with the acts.
They are there to judge, not participate in the act.
That may or may not influence the vote?
That's my tuppence worth!

Good morning, Rusty!
A dull morning here... with a slightly lower temperature than yesterday, which made walking pleasanter....and more energetic!
A tad suspicious that Paddy Power should think the top two acts would be Lost Voice Guy and the comic Robert White?
I didn't think there had been any previous suggestion / likelihood that either of these was rated that highly, especially the latter?
I had thought the judge line -up worked well?
I think rapport between the judges plays a large part in the show....but David Walliams by all accounts does cross the line on occasions.
There is no call for that.
One of the reasons that I enjoy "The Voice:UK" so much is the good relationship that the judges have with - and the respect they show to - each other.
The friendly banter adds to the show.
Right, coffee and crossword time......

Hello, Elle!
Much cooler here today, but dry.
Yes, Paddy P was on the ball!
Obviously money from somewhere made Lost Voice and Robert White favourites.
I would prefer Piers Morgan or Louis Walsh to David Walliams.
I am surprised Simon Cowell tolerates Walliams antics.
The two women are not too bad, but a fresh face or two would be welcome.
Anyway, all over for another year!
