Hello, Elle!
Just watched BGT.
The best two acts for me were Father Ray and the Giang Brothers.
You?
Should be a great final.
I think Dec has done fine on his own too.

Hi, Rusty!
Well.......last ditch stand tonight.......
I liked Father Ray.
But you knew I was going to say that!
He sang magnificently, although personally I had rather a sneaking preference for his audition rendering, where he "crooned"!
And I thought the Giang Brothers were superb.
I enjoyed Demille and Muoneke, although I do not expect them to win.
And strangely enough, as I don't much go for comedians, I enjoyed Mickey P Kerr's act.
I could have gone on listening to him......
However , I thought the cake eating opera singer was awful!
Perhaps I am alone in this, but I thought it daft........utterly stupid!
I wonder who will get through?
I find it hard to predict........

Good morning, Elle!
A fine morning here.
Florida plane has just landed at Glasgow a few minutes ago.
I am a bit disappointed Father Ray did not make the final but that's show business!
I did not take to Micky P.
The Giang Brothers were superb!
Wonder who the wild card will be?
Anyway, today is Derby Day!
I am looking forward to that!

Glad your family is safe, rusty.
Hope you all have some cash, going to be difficult shopping otherwise. Wonder who or what is at the root of all this mayhem?
My grandchildren are going to stay overnight tonight, first time ever. Have work to do!

Thank you, Rosalind!
I wish they would holiday in the Highlands, but they love Florida!
I much prefer using cash, so it should not affect me.
Enjoy your grandchildren's stay.
They keep you young!

I think the cash machines will run out, too! Do you remember the bank Strike in Eire about 30-40 years ago? It lasted weeks.

Not sure about the children keeping me young- they are only 8 and 5. I think they'll wear me out! But I have lots of things for them to do

Hello, Rosalind!
I topped up my cash at a cash machine yesterday.
I did have a Visa payment pending for a couple of days and wondered if it was caught in the snarl up.
But it cleared my bank today, so maybe this palaver is ending.
The young ones are great! I am sure you will all have a super time!

Good morning, Rusty!
A warm sunny morning here! !
We are just home from the park.
Re BGT..... well, I expected the Chiang brothers would get through.....and I was disappointed that Father Ray didn't , but there is a lot of good competition.
I liked Micky P's joke about "Andy Murray's mum"!
I believe that she is a very nice lady and would hopefully take it in good part!
David soothed it down a tad by joking that she was in the audience!
How does the Wild Card work?
Do the judges vote?
It is good that your son and daughter-in-law arrived home safely!
Shall you see him today?

Hello, Ros!
Are your grandchildren spending the day with you, and then having a sleepover?
Or coming later, and then staying for the day tomorrow?
Or maybe both?!
In which case you will definitely be worn out afterwards!!

Hello, Elle!
Great weather here!
I did not get the joke about Judy Murray.
I thought the comic's diction was poor and I had little idea about what he was trying to convey.
I did not think he was very good.
Judy seems to be a nice lady, she works very hard with young tennis players.
I think the wild card will be decided by the panel.
The girls and dog are delighted to see the Floridians home.
I am not sure if my son will visit.
It is a long haul from America and they will be weary.
And it is Miss O's birthday, and they all are going out for their dinner soon.
Think they have booked a table at a pub.
I hope they have a nice time.

The children and their Dad are coming about 2.45 (we shall see!!) and the children are being collected again some time tomorrow. I will certainly be exhausted and have a special friend arriving in the afternoon. Phew! However, all shopping done (except I may get the children to walk down my hill for an ice cream, which is half a mile, with a playground at the bottom. This might wear them out a little).
We shall see. They are apparently very excited.
For once I shall be pleased my neighbour feeds the badgers! I have now got some prickles to bury where the local cats go and a sonic device. Phew, always some problem.
Now off to child proof the garden as much as possible. Balls not allowed!
