Hi,, Rusty!
We are home again...wiped out by the heat...the temperature must be in the lower thirties, surely?
It said 36C in the car!
We had a most enjoyable meal....BB had chosen Pizza Express for the venue.
There was a special ( very reasonably priced ) menu for Father's day!
An all-in-one price two course meal!
Lots of options!
We all enjoyed the food and especially the company...and the conversation!
The family has gone home now...and we are suffering in the extreme heat....the fans are going but not to much effect! .......
How are you - is it as hot where you are?
What are you up to?

It is quite hot outside so I am indoors.
I am not fond of heat.
You seemed to have a very nice outing.
I have been painting the inside of cupboards.
No dinner today.
Too hot for me to eat, I think.

I totally agree....the heat is too much for me to want dinner, either.
I should not have enjoyed my lunch, but for the fact that the air-conditioning in Pizza Express was excellent!
(I wonder if they would let me move in for the next week?! I have a sleeping bag!)

I think a variety of fruit might be the dinner menu...and maybe some ice-cream.......

You should have seen me trying to find a pair of shoes in which to go out! I hadn't thought that my swollen foot might prove a problem....!

I have just been talking to my cousin - she rang me about 8.15 having just come back from the beach at Lytham St Anne's .
That is what we could do with right now...some fresh sea breezes!
This heat and humidity is too much to bear!
Your golfers have it good, if they are experiencing a strong breeze!
It will be hot for those playing tennis at Queens this coming week!
I think tomorrow is set to be even hotter in London than today.

Beautiful here in that we have bright blue sky and sunshine....but far, far, too hot already!
When I went out with the dog at 8am, the temp was already in the mid -twenties...and is set to reach 31C later!
I am looking forward to Queens...but won't manage to watch much tennis today - maybe just the first two hours? - as my husband has his appointment to see the Consultant at the Thoracic Medicine Clinic late this afternoon.
He will get the results of the Xray that was taken last Monday.
We shall need to leave here about 3 pm as the hospital is some distance away.
I cannot see us getting home much before 7pm.
(I hope the air conditioning in the clinic is efficient!)
