Hey Rusty, you spelled Pigalle correctly as far as the official name is concerned - I chose to mispell it out of respect for the famous sculptor who gave his name to the Place.

As for the 'young' scottish songs, I simply don't know them. I have a CD with the top three you mentionned, as well as Amazing Grace which i adore. Reckon I must be an oldie!

Seems that we must be more or less of same generation and like you, my mind thinks I am still a teenager - But I sure can no longer dance all night in a disco, go home and have shower/breakfast and go to work full of energy the next day ! and it is not only because I am retired!

Well, no, that would be pushing it a bit!
But I do tend to burn the candle at both ends tho', Pigale. I get up very early at 6am and quite often we don't go to bed until around 1am!
I don't seem to need a lot of sleep !
