For 20, I can only find two possibilities. One a naval rank the other a word meaning highest point. Nothing connected with trees.

Got there in the end but for me 30ac works fine as it is and I can't see where the extra letter should be.
Ffannie - 20 dn - another word for the first two words of the clue.

Teenieleek, 'the fifth' indicates the extra letter. Otherwise the end of clue 30 would have to be a definition to be swapped into another clue.
