Yup, I've gone as far as I can with this, still six to go but beyond my capabilities; btw is there a word for the sort of coincidences you describe Les, I'm sure someone on this site will know it if it exists.

Can't get any further, Les: completely lost on most film quotations, so you might as well put me out of my misery, too!

I'm not sure about that Pastille. it's not strictly discovering things by happy accident, is it? I was hoping for a word that I had never heard of (like persiflage which I had never come across until seeing it on here - was it you that brought it to oiur attention many moons ago?)
