That seems a lot better, it's a better version to print off with a better layout, as long as you've digested the preamble and keep a copy of who's who in the setters letters.

I'm sorry for not getting it right, but the problem is, when first formatting and having to add all the names and the instructions, it means I have to add left headers and right headers and then format a main header. And it's difficult to edit everything to where you exactly want it. I have just found a new formatting tool on the software, but don't know how it works yet, I will have a play with it before next month's grid.
Anyway, it just wouldn't be me if it came out perfect.

I'm off now, have fun. Les40

Can anyone imagine why, when I try to print it out, only the grid is printed, no clues, though I can see the whole thing in miniature? This has happened using all 3 links, so presumably not a problem anyone else is having. Wanted to take it with me on a short holiday!Grateful for any tips!

GK...it might be the PDF software you have. Adobe is the most universal but I find it BIG and annoying, so I use 'Foxit PDF reader' which is much smaller/quicker. It might be worth giving it a go, you can always uninstall it afterwards (it's free)- Just make sure you untick any 'extras' it offers you during installation although the firefox browser extension is fine if you want it!:

I'll echo that, Les. Love your long clues, especially th clever misdirections at 16 and 17.

peterm, my hat is off to you after the penny finally dropped at 57.

I did about a quarter of it late last night. Yes, some great clues. It seems you've cranked it up a bit, peterm; you and ixie are always evil. I'll try to steal a few peeks at this morning.

I had to crank it up a tad, aristo. You're getting too good.
