The point about a competition like this is that it can only work by consensus, and that's the way it should be. Consensus has agreed a few wrinkles to the original concept over the months. I simply hung a thought out there -- 'it had occurred to me that it might be worth....' is hardly making a strong claim -- and if blue moon hadn't already asked for an explanation, which he was perfectly entitled to do, I would never have posted that thought in the first place.
So, now to think up something fiendish for next week...
