Would you all stop needling Mamya.
She has been struggling for a week or two knitting that kilt in my clan tartan, and I am still awaiting it.

and I am knitting a farm! Well, to be fair, only the animals, people and fields are knitted, the rest is a hooked rug
love the 2 weeks, fortnight comment. Just started to do the Jumbo and really appreciate the help I've been given

Trevor - I should think a knitted willy warmer would be unbearably itchy... I suppose I could always buy baby wool. Would you prefer pink or blue?

Nellie,

Your piano would just so go in the corner.

By the way, do you do chandeliers?

I'm not sure that knitting and electrics would be such a good mix... but I could do you a stunning candelabra! x

Pastille, I do feel I have been most remiss in my lack of response here, I read the opening gambit and have made a note of the book mentioned, sounds great.
I see we have now moved into the realms of Tricot, well Pastille, I was not aware of any revised building plans for your extension, may I say 'lean to' sounds a little down market for you.I have though knit a cushion for you to keep the 'Farmer Giles' at bay.
Moira, a boat, yes that would be good, once knit an aircraft carrier, most impressive.
Nellie you sound very proficient, I have managed amongst other things, champagne bottles/wedding cakes/a full tea party(for granddaughter) houses (not full scale).
One pattern that haunts me is a life size Olde English Sheepdog, I regularly look at it lovingly, then decide it will cost too much..have always wanted a pet though.

Joker, I have only the sporran to finish and they will be with you, a complimentary set O' The Pipes too.

I do hope that brings me up to date and have not dropped any stitches in this reply.

Casting off for now.
