Has anyone got any of the unclued and an idea of how to treat them?

Can anyone help with 12ac? It looks like the answer is runnel or runnet, both of which can mean brook. I can't work it out.

hello ixion - I just need 24d and 11a to complete the normal clues, but have no idea of how to progress further. Do you know which are the "real words"? - possibly 1a or 6d or 39a - all my others don't look like they will make a real word.
