Hello Ann. Sorry to hear of your sad loss. My condolences to you at this time.

I can hardly believe that I am able to report I have NO blank spaces left on the Christmas crossword!! I think this must be a first for me without seeking help either from yourselves or Quick Solve. Amazing!

I am shortly going off on my holidays to Santa Claus Land and to see my grandchildren but I may post once more before I go.

Hello all. I have only two blank spaces left those being 44a and 49d and I have possible answers for them but the penny hasn't dropped and I fail to see how each clue relates to each answer (the answers I have are 'grating' and 'play act') an someone please shine a light??

Thank you in advance.

Sorry Robeson forgot 44a which I think is just a double-meaning.

Bars that don't allow access can be a grating and someting which causes irritation can be grating.
