Definitely struggling here! Got several possible answers but only 12th and 14th across in approximately the right places. A hint for 1a Nocturnal creatures showing a form of pillow worship. And how or where my first 3 possible down answers fit. Would be really helpful.

Sybila, 1a is a long anagram. And so the last across must be the same length

I’ve got the phrase and the symbols but still don’t get the connection with the title. All I could find was a greatest common factor of one.

Teenieleek, both the numbers in the title exhibit a property shown by the bars in the final grid. Those numbers are chosen because they also represent a charade for the number of the puzzle.

Lumen, yes for you. Sorry. It was a bit brief. That’s 15a I think. Answer is three letters then there is a six letter answer to the bloody duke one right after it. There’s an explanation for that one in a previous post which helped me get it. Your letters are correct.
