Account (AC) around a 3-letter logic circuit in computing, all reversed, R extra.

I have seen the "evil" word used before in crosswords, and if you will permit me a rant, why is a word that Shakespeare made up, no one else has ever used, and no one knows what it means, even in Chambers, and why is it allowed into crosswords? Just wondering.

I'm reasonably up to speed on computer stuff - and it was a new one for me too!

(It's probably more a term for computer logic studies rather than anything day-to-day. I even suspect most programmers won't be aware of it. 'I/O' sometimes makes an appearance and I think I've seen 'gate' refer to 'NOT' or 'NOR'. Maybe 'NAND' will debut before long. 😀
