I've finished, found all three alphabet books and the author of them. A nice puzzle.

Yes indeed Gitto. An author of whom I had never heard. Very interesting and enjoyable.

Enjoyed this too (and the theme person is new to me also).

Quite tricksy in places I thought but, once I had 3 of the unnumbered clues, a lot fell in to place.

Very nice puzzle; as it happens the creator was a favorite of mrs, buddy back when I met her, 45 years ago, so I had all three titles at hand, which made the puzzle easier than I would have liked, really,

Very enjoyable. I have been trying to find the second and third to read online but no luck so far. I’m wondering if I should buy them for grandchildren.

teenieleek, in a world where some would like to censor Roald Dahl and Dr Seuss, these books might be viewed as inappropriate for children, so I would by all means encourage you to buy them for your grandchildren.
