Difficult to know whether the guess is right. 4 might be BRIGHTON. 8 should end in WICK, but the closest I can get is BERWICK (there is a Ravenswick, but it isn't on the coast(

I share your misgivings about Jaywick, chrise, but I’m damned if I can find anything else beginning with Crow, Daw, Jackdaw, Merle, Raven or Rook!
