On my copy the line before the / is longer than the one just after it, son1ofrover1. So I went with the oldest first

For what (very little) it is worth, temporality and the positioning of the characters in the grid along with the difference in the length of the lines completely resolved any ambiguity for me.

You are quite right quisling. I should have said longer, not shorter, in my previous post and apologise for any confusion caused by it.

Bobbycollins, do you have the title of the other pair's 'work'? If so, all you need to do is add 'US' in a search and your trawling would be at an end.
