@spike
My old memory is Guinness addled, but I seem to recall the night JP first played the song, he played it twice in a row!

A tenuous link between Trellick Tower and LA - I was watching a clip from Chinatown where John Houston’s character says:- “Politicians, ugly buildings, and whores all get respectful if they last long enough”. TT is now listed and flats sell for big money. (And, sadly, LA is still all about water).

As for my clue - I wasn’t sure about the hyphen - all advice welcome.
