I’m with you when it comes to cryptic grammar, especially with regard to single letter indications. That said, there are all manner of libertarian creations in the Guardian that slip through the Ximenean net (if there is such a thing!).

I wasn't aware of this version, even though it was the original. I am, however, a great fan of the Vanilla Fudge version.

Vanilla Fudge, a fine album, up there with Forever Changes.
