…thinking about it, it’s a rather “Azed” way of clueing.
Everyman has clued the answer to 6d at least twice before… he clearly thought he need to try something different this time.

Even with Jono's (excellent) hint, it still took me a good 15 minutes to parse 6D! One of the more convoluted Everyman clues in a long time. Good job there's only really one possible answer.

I thought 6d was fair? 10a took me back! I always liked Midge Ure.

I read 18d as a double definition. The first as you might a minutes silence e.g.
