I’ve found the verb in the line that says how the person broadcast the message spelled both ..LL’D and ..LLED, in different sources, but not ..LD? I’m pretty sure the version to enter is ..LLED. The most unusual word that arises from changing 9 letters to include the second half of that line is a “chiefly Scottish” interjection expressing sorrow, according to Merriam Webster.
Can anyone clarify the wordplay for
27 “Ingeniously overcomes work bar quietly absorbing taunt (7)”, or
8 “50% of Spenser chauvinist female’s claiming (6)”?
I see definitions for both are at the start.
Thanks
