Requests for help should normally include the clue itself, the number of letters in the answer, and details of any you already have. Any additional information or special instructions, common in Listener puzzles, should also be included.
Hints only, please, no answers.

The theme...
Help towards the theme may also be sought here. The aim is for the help to be fairly gentle - a nudge, a pointer in the right direction (and certainly not anything that would spoil the puzzle for other solvers). Any posts which, even inadvertently, reveal too much of the theme are likely to be removed.

PS Many of the posts on these threads are from Listener regulars, but newcomers are always welcome and may find some help here.

The Listener is a unique puzzle and should be treated with respect.

Where does the Listener appear on the revamped Times website? It seems to have disappeared.

I have a Times subscription and I cannot find it either. I phoned The Times and they were unable to explain why. Apparently the website was only updated yesterday and they think the process may not yet be complete. As the puzzle is published in the Saturday edition of the paper, they think it might appear tomorrow.

It is on the site today but you won’t find it under the “crosswords” tab! The redesign is a mess - Times Scotland seems to have disappeared entirely.. Search “crossword club” and scroll down.

Thanks simond9x. I now have the puzzle. What is it about IT people? Every time they meddle with something, they make it worse than it was before!

Perhaps they meddled with the puzzle too. It was too easy.

Certainly very gentle. All done before G&T time!
