I?G?S?E?I?G. looks like an anagram of TIGRIS and GREEN but doesn't quite seem to fit and anyway is INGESTERING actually a word. Unless I've got 4a "It must be approximately a foot in length" (4-4) wrong as SHOE-SIZE ?

Nearly done but would appreciate a hint for 10d and 20a

10 down parses as "in" followed by "ladies, perhaps", definition "trouble".

20 across is a double definition.

I don't mind if they do get a bit easier if people are finding these too tough for the Everyman but this was about bang on for me. Quite challenging especially to get going but well clued and a fine afternoon's enjoyment in the sun.

But I do agree they were getting tougher even if he didn't do it intentionally. But thanks Everyman as I personally enjoyed it.

Like others 13d would be COD. Haven't really parsed 9a yet. Definition no problem but Navy Seals bit eludes me.0

They are scouts so the first part is an abbreviation of their role. The second part makes me thing of London gangland movies. A business enterprise...

Thanks to geeker on 10d and to the help on 13d I have completed this one, so much better than last weeks.
