i'm completely stumped on loi 4d. what is the definition?

i suspect 4d might be wobbling, but i can't see the rest if that's right

4d. definition is “wobbling perhaps”. Five letter word for what you might say as a sign of affection, with two letters inside.

quite a lot of looseness in this one. this is an example, as was part of 15 i mentioned earlier. there's a similar (shorter) word that fits the definition in 12 better; even then not quite!

Hi, thanks for all contributions so far. My foi was 24a closely followed by 13d. I've completed the bottom half but have drawn a blank on the top .
A gentle hint for 1 or 8 might get me going again.

Hi Derbs, both 1 and 8 are two letters followed by six letter anagrams. Hope that is a gentle enough hint…
