I was a math(s) major and read Hardy's ...Apology among other things, so am well aware of the Tripos, Wranglers, etc.

Well done, Aristo, quite a topical entry, after last week. Thanks to all those who voted for my clues.
Chrise, I had noticed the Cambridge/Wrangler connection in Chambers.
Thanks also to our host, Geting. I woke up at an ungodly hour, so was able to vote early - though your 7pm cut off time would have been fine. Enjoyed the clips.

I did think of adding an explanation, but was curious if anyone would ask about a Senior Wrangler. Unfortunately the dropping of revealing the Junior Wrangler is true, for the reason I gave.
