Quisling, I think we have to be a little generous reading the shape contents. Top line is abbreviation of main character, ignore the last letter. Google the list theme to find all the candidates. Read all the letters in the next three lines, revealing two items in each line. There are two items in fifth line, but they overlap by one letter. Two items in sixth line, but ignore last two letters. Read all letters in last line to get two more.

Thanks, graham9perkins - I think you've confirmed what we all have. The issue for some of us is that every letter hasn't been used for the 'items' inside the space (the 3 or 4 letters you're ignoring). Personally, I think that's a weakness of the grid design.

Ok, I’m at last understanding what the other posts were questioning! As it happens, those spare letters, in given order, spell out another thematic item. Though from the “other media” list. Possibly a coincidence.

Thanks, assembling the extra letters is a reasonable compromise (but you're probably right about it being a coincidence).

Well, with a bit of poetic licence I fitted 13 into the Mini with no spare letters....but only bothered because it seemed to be an issue. It seems that some go horizontal, one goes vertical and one is split? But they all seem to have crammed in there somehow. 😄
