That's me done, apart from filling in the newspaper grids for 4784 and 4785 and a trip to the postbox.

1a - 5 letter "soft" (more commonly 'loose material') around 3 letter "so" then 4 letter "tunes"

26d, seems very convoluted....is it a good clue? Is def 'sharing a mother', obscure word?
36a seems tough, with unusual second letter but none of the ones I can find make any sense.
Help on those would be great.

Lumen, 26 D is a very normal word, it was the meaning I didn't know! I don't have the clue now, so can't provide a nudge.

I found 36 in one of my dictionaries.

Lumen, I realise I never parsed 26d after working out the answer from other letters but 36a is basically an unclothed Dumbledore or Merlin and I googled the result as '**** meaning' and found a satisfactory result.
