Good fun, and a pleasing final grid. Thanks Apt

Just can’t parse 36a or 15d - please would someone put me out of my misery?

Adeano, for 36 A, tje first four letters are an obsolete word, 'elderly', for 'to fetch' and the rest is the Queen.

So sorry, Adeano - I initially had the correct piece of paper, then got them muddled up.

36 I think it may have been mentioned before - the last two words of the clue are pivotal (because if you go there...) the first two are the definition.

15d - 2 letters for the note followed by an obscure (to me, at least) computer command [and as I can't think of a hint for it I'll suggest you chop off a hag's rear end]. The correction leads you to another clue answer to complete the def.

Can someone explain the parsing of 35a (Grenache periodically served...). I have the answer and a full grid, but that clue baffles me.

Thanks.

Thanks, Buddy. I had the wrong answer! No wonder the wordplay didn't make sense. The missing letter is what I required for the Item below the grid, so thanks again.

Now, I 'll alter 31d to what I had originally had, and search for that elusive last Item in the grid.

Thanks malone and drxx!

Both clues using the same (not so tricky in hindsight) trick. Just not used to parsing spelt out numbers (as opposed to numerals) as clue references, I guess
