Morning, Jack. You are never normally a 'blithering idiot', so in a way it was a refreshing change. I saw on 'That Listener' thread that you are recovering from surgery, hope that all goes well.

I have orchestrated a solution to unclued 19a which uses the final alphabetical letter at the end and makes the puzzle more complete, but it seems that this isnt required ...... what do you think Malone ?

19a has its end letter as one of the two. The other end letter is at 12a

Nice puzzle, but I have one thematic yet to enter.
14Across I have the first, the third and the fourth letters, but there are three composers that I have found that would fit!!
Any hints please
