Why has nobody mentioned 18D? It must be easy but its my last and I just cant get it! Help please! Thanks very much!

Hi izzy, it's a homophone. Fancy is the definition, as in to imagine or suppose something.

its ok I got it!!! The crosser at the top I had as a 'e' from my incorrect 'ensuite' . Finished! Found it hard in parts evidently! Cheers!

Actually yes, barry, I agree re 6d. I had initially put 23a as my COD, but once the penny had dropped re the parsing of 6d, I have to admit, it was a brilliant, and funny, clue!
