Good morning Mirel ,good to see someone else hasn’t finished.
It is an anagram , think medical way of treating.

Enjoyed this puzzle and confident in our answers thanks in a large part to this forum.
However…….. struggling to completely parse 5a. We have a word for pen (to which we have added the indicated letter) and we have a word for designer. But those two words don’t quite match!
Would be grateful for any explanation of this mismatch of vowels!

Pen is the first three letters (think pigs not Bic!) then four letters for table

Jacklaine, 5a parses as pen (3) + table (4)

I know, Mattrom, I have the same frustration with those damn things!

Didn't enjoy this much due to excess difficulty parsing and finally stuck on 12a. Hints welcome.

At last managed to finish ,not a very enjoyable crossword from Tramp ,too many obscure parsings. Trying to keep track of cricket at same time didn’t help . Now back to the action at the Oval!!
